Ricky Fox and Tommy Balaam, the co-founders of Ambitious Arts, have a long, well-established performing background that has stood the test of time.
Ricky trained at the BRIT School, later graduating from the East 15 Acting School, where he met Tommy at Drama School – Between them they have been seen in the West End, appeared in number of TV roles, features, and often seen on large billboards!
Looking to gain financial security whilst they furthered their acting career, they started the phenomenal ‘Captain Fantastic’ empire in 2010. Today Captain Fantastic has been awarded ‘The UK’s no. 1 children’s entertainment company’. Running as a successful franchise and employing 40 entertainers to host a wide variety of children’s parties as well as having their own cartoon, music album, branded merchandise.
As well as running Ambitious Arts they also run UKDC; one of London’s premier latin dance schools in Camden town, with its own clothing brand and online course.. And if you think they stopped there you’d be wrong! They also run ‘CF Entertainment’ which specialises in managing corporate events for organisations such as Heart Radio, The Ritz, CitiBank, LinkedIn & Harrods.
After studying several business courses over the last decade, Ambitious Arts was created to inspire other performers to build a lifestyle and earn the money they deserve.
They bring together all they have learnt and adapted them specifically for performers in the industry – now offering free events, talks, workshops, podcasts, online courses and coaching sessions for performers and creatives looking to expand, succeed and earn more.
